The human brain consists of about 100 billion nerve cells, which form extremely complex networks via synaptic connections. Neuronal compounds (connective) develop and change dynamically. Every functional change in the brain is accompanied by changes in the connectivity of nerve cells.

Using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), a randomized, controlled research study in 2020 has shown for the first time that Neurofeedback modulates significant changes in brain connectivity with just 30 minutes of training!

What is NeuroFeedback?

NeuroFeedback is the direct training of brain functions in self-regulation.

This state-of-the-art technology provides an opportunity which allows your brain to witness its own brain activity (EEG) and adjusts its EEG to more appropriate patterns, as if it is a mirror for the brain. This mirrroring process impacts the regulation of the central nervous system to bring about greater resilience, calming, and functioning, thereby allowing the brain to reset itself onto a better path.

As a partner of EEG Institute (USA), we use an advanced technology and non-invasive technique to facilitate the feedback process for the brain using it’s own internal mechanism. Specialized high quality sensors are applied to specific locations on the scalp to measure brainwave activity. The measured signals are then processed and extracted to reflect in a spontaneous audio-visual real-time feedback onto a screen to the client.

During the training, when your brain detects its “dissonance”, it picks that up immediately and reports that back to self through its own internal mechanism. Sensing intuitively the shift it needs to make, just like a toddler learning to walk, your brain adjusts its own activity to address that “dissonance”. As the brain networks process and utilize the feedback information during the training, it rewires the brain and also create new neural pathways.

This feedback process is a work-out for your brain - leading not only to greater and stronger neural connectivity but also creating new connectivity! The result of this experience leads to better functioning and greater well-being.
